TextEncodings. :P

Hey list,

I'm sure this has probably been asked before, and if it has, I apologize.

How do I input chr(240) and get out (unicode) &hF8FF?  I know this has 
something to do with TextEncodings, but I've been all over the Language Ref 
and User's Guide and everything went Woosh over my head.

BTW, RB 5.2.4/5.5b1, Mac OS X
