Windows performance sluggish until mouse moves: msg#02989lang.realbasic.user
Greeting, NUG -- I've got a network server app that's developed in RB 5.2.4 on OS X that works fine on the Mac. When cross-compiled for, and run under Windows (2000), it has very sluggish performance until the mouse is moved (and kept moving.) While the mouse is moving, performance seems comparable to what I see on the Mac, when it's not moving, it slows back down. The difference seems to be about an order of magnitude. Anyone familiar with the cause of this behavior? Thanks in advance!
