I've written a b-spline demonstration program to draw bezier curves. beziers allow an arbitrary number of sample points, so you could use the vertex coordinates to place text characters if you wanted. I'll send you the code if you like, it's undocumented but pretty self explanatory.

Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for implementing a Shake
style node/string based interaction. That is, joining two or more nodes
with a 'wiggling string' Similar to what you get when you use a string
to link documents within a WSIWYG HTML editor like Dreamweaver or
Golive.

Sorry for the poor explanation I just can't think of the words to
describe it... I assume there is an algorithm out there for joining two
points on the fly with a spline of some sort...
