Encoding Question: big5 and GB2312

Hello,

when archiving mail from this mailing list I stumbled on the two 
encodings big5 and gb2312. I think that big5 is something chinese. 
Would the following code be correct to describe this encoding?

encodings.GetFromCode(&h0A03)

What is the equivalent for the gb one?
