If it's a great app it's a great app.
It could be written in assembler for all that matters.
The fact he used RB to make it really should not be a part of the review. And, given some of the poison that has been flung about by people about crappy apps made with RB it could be unnecessarily detrimental.

Which can also be written in C++, Visual Basic, etc.

I actually didn't mean to infer that Macworld has any reason to mention REALbasic for that or any other review. It just seems to me that MacAddict supports them more and was more of a personal aside about the magazine.

But I don't see why the tool used ever made any difference to it being a great application.

It doesn't. Good apps stand on their own.
