If it's a great app it's a great app.
It could be written in assembler for all that matters.
The fact he used RB to make it really should not be a part of the review. And, given some of the poison that has been flung about by people about crappy apps made with RB it could be unnecessarily detrimental.

It might be part of Geoff's promotional materials for REALbasic (if Bryan agreed to it) and on that count I think it's an excellent promotion.

But I don't see why the tool used ever made any difference to it being a great application.

I agree. While I don't advertise the fact that DiscBlaze is written in RB, I don't keep it a secret either. Heck, I even wrote an article for RB Developer magazine about how I ported DiscBlaze from cocoa over to RB. :-)

In the end very few people actually care what it is written in.
