No, not at all. I wouldn't say tension. None of the core developers are
using FreeBSD and so have had no knowledge, environment or real
incentive to look into the problem, once it was determined to a
reasonable degree that this was a problem with BSD that needs a
workaround in Pike (or fix in BSD). We are happy to accept any new input,
be it information or code, on the issue.
