Initial Comment:
In order to get DND working from a grid cell to another
grid cell,
I need access to:
  WxGrid::GetGridWindow 
  WxGrid::GetGridRowLabelWindow
  WxGrid::GetGridColLabelWindow

I added the following to XS/Grid.xs to accomplish this:

Wx_Window*
Wx_Grid::GetGridWindow()

Wx_Window*
Wx_Grid::GetGridRowLabelWindow()

Wx_Window*
Wx_Grid::GetGridColLabelWindow()


Should I submit a patch?  (If so how?)  I could submit
a demo patch as well.
