Anyone try running Insight/gdbtk thru tcl2perl ?

Has anyone attempted to run Insight
http://sources.redhat.com/insight/index.html
thru tcl2perl ? I've built an IDE for database development
that I'd like to integrate C/C++ and Perl debuggers into;
ptkdb is a good start for the latter, I'm hoping Insight/gdbtk
can be leveraged to solve the latter problem.
