Nick,
I get them on SuSE9.0's KDE ("3.1.4").
It is possible the KDE may be more vigorously applying some standard?
You've got a point in that. In fact, KDE meanwhile (3.2.x) does.
The problem was detected by tcl/tk users already about 14 days ago and
filed as bug for both KDE and Tk. Both the KDE and the Tk team agree
that it is a Tk issue. The most detailed explanation of the possible
cause I've read there:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67577
And there:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=915350&group_id=12997&atid=112997
Nevertheless thanks to Petr for filing the bug again, it might speed up
the fix a little bit :-)
Regards,
Wolfgang
