This has Steve's demo re-org so patch looks larger than it really is
as it deletes things then re-adds them with another pathname.
Also has fix for HList entries with whitespace - this may have
side effects elsewhere.
Can we re-test as widely as possible please (on real code as
well as make test) - as I am still tempted to remove the beta
tag very soon.
Oddities on IRIX: a production app that uses a checkbutton
programatically selects the button but the checkbox isn't colored and
marked active until the cursor passes over (Enter followed by Leave
events) - do not even have to click the mouse. When I do click the
mouse, I see this:
