I've been out of the loop for a bit as the company has relocated us to London
and life has been a bit hectic. Sorry 'bout that.
The TAP is not stored by default. I was planning to at one point but the
parser is designed to support infinite streams and storing the TAP then
becomes rather problematic. However, even though infinite streams are
trivial, I don't know of anyone who's actually using them (they'd be useful,
though).
