Potentially too clever idea:

  # In your test unit class:
  sub import {
    my ($class, @tests) = @_;

    # startup;
    $test->$_ for @tests;
    # teardown;
  }

Because then:

  perl -I lib -I t/lib -MTest::Your::Code=basics,extra,weird -e0

This might end up being too clever and too much typing, anyway.
