Exact descriptions follow:

        Tile Description Angles Sides Area

        B Isosceles 30 30 120 1 1 S 1
                triangle

Are you sure piece B is drawn correctly in your picture?

No, it's totally wrong. I drew a triangle with sides sqrt(7)/7 sqrt(7)/4 2 instead of 1 1 S. I have placed a corrected version on the web site. Thanks for catching this.

Also...

How about making that picture in the same scale as the tiles?

I did it that way because the figures that came with the puzzle were not the same scale as the tiles themselves, which means that part of the puzzle is figuring out what the scale is.

But I can give you a menu of three options:

1. Get the postscript file and make a trivial change to it to change the scale of either diagram however you want.

2. Get the sol.jpg file from the same directory, which has a same-scale illustration of the solution of the puzzle in conf.jpg.

3. Ask me again and I will probably comply.
