Subject: #12e (no spoilers) Code to test a wider variety of strings

This morning I tweaked my testing code to support

    multi-line input and/or output strings
    inputs/output strings not ending in newline

I added some test cases mostly to test the new testing code. You'll want to ignore my test cases if you've interpreted the problem statment differently than I have, but you may still find the test code handy: you'd just need to update the data.
