IIRC, someone tried to port POE to VMS a few years back, check the archives. I
seem to recall that the issue they were hitting was some networking code.
There's a great deal of information about POE at http://poe.perl.org/ .
I'd love to see POE on VMS and if I can be any help with consulting on problems
or trying betas, I'm here.
