As a senior member of the technology team, you will get to work on preparing
Internet environments for development and production. As the team grows, you
will also mentor and lead a small team of less experienced administrators.
Patience and ability to work with cross-functional technical and non-technical
teams is necessary. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic start up that is
innovating new internet media solutions is also required.
Will also evaluate, test and perform proof of concepts (POCs) with new and
emerging technologies.
Requirements:
• 5+ years industry experience in Linux/Unix/Apache administration in an
internet technology environment. (e.g. FreeBSD, RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, etc)
• Must have 2+ years industry experience in Perl shell scripting
• Good working knowledge of networking hardware, including switches and
routers
• Experience with Virtualization a plus (such as VMWare)
• Familiarity with other GNU products is highly desirable
• Strong leadership/mentoring ability
• Ability to communicate and interact with technical and non-technical
members of the organization
