o'reilly would never want to get into that. it just doesn't make
sense. what other publisher or media company does certification?

blecch. as i said, that test is worthless. i took it when it was free
and without trying got a very high score. as i said elsewhere they even
ask module questions (like how to use CGI.pm) which makes no
sense. plenty of perl progammers have never written a cgi script in
their lives.
