It does not build Perl and cannot build PAR. :-/ Figures.. Anybody know of a viable freeware alternative, or a place where old compilers (vc6) go for adoption? I know CYGWIN is available, but its ugly 'static linking only' policy sort of hurts when my main purpose is making standalone, self-installable executables. Ed
