Even this: perl -e "exec 'perldoc pp.bat'" has the same problem, but: perl -e "system 'perldoc pp.bat'" works. pp.bat uses exec to avoid fall-thru to: exec "pod2text $0" if perldoc exists. The difficulty with system is the difference in return values for different OSes. Alan |
