How does one find out information on packages that 
have been installed using "nmake install"?
 
Same question for a unix installation using "make install".

(At the end of nmake install, the DOS console showed
a line about updating some pod file -- but the path 
used by nmake to get to that pod file was incorrect
and so this step failed -- silently failed.  Sadly, I don't 
have a log of what exactly happened.)
