sorry for not answering before, but I was extremely engaged in these days.
I implemented TT2 in TWiki in a couple of minutes (Ok, say 10 minutes),
just for post-processing pages (TWiki has a plugin mechanism for
rendering). However, I would like to move ALL twiki to tt2, and this is
scheduled for this summer.
Meanwhile, I have to hack tt2 in order to provide a "safe" environment to
users, like controlled input of files, access to databases, etc. For
instance, I would like a mechanism to overload the usual "include"
function with a function of mine (for access control), etc, i.e. when
creating a new template object I would like to have the possibility of
passing my functions to be called instead of the default ones. I can
clearly do this by using a plugin and disable INCLUDEs, but in this way I
have to use a different syntax. Or, I can preprocess the file to convert
all [% INCLUDE to [%include()%], which also I do not like too much.
However, I have to preprocess files to allow people to use wiki syntactic
sugar....
