In several ways, that spec has languished, unfortunately.
I'd like to revive it, though. I've just set up a cron job on the
sourceforge web server that will grab the latest spec from CVS every
hour. So now let's make sure we've got what we want in CVS.
Randy, I don't think we (I?) ever reconciled the differences between
META-spec.html and META-spec-new.html. I think that should be the
first order of business.
