Do you mean 'perl Build ppmdist'? All the above command will do is
generate the PPD (perl package description) file.
Duh! Too long since I did it before, I guess. But I thought I was sure
that I'd deleted the .gz first, and that it reappeared. But surely
ppmdist is what I meant.
Now using A::T, the result of perl Build ppmdist is a .tar.gz file, but
using --tar, it is a .tar file. Is there another option like --gzip to
supply another program to do the .gz compression, or must one just do
that manually?
