That or put the PREFIX on the Makefile.PL line.  For building RPMs, DESTDIR
is a better solution and was put in for that very reason.

"make install" won't honor a PREFIX unless it was set by Makefile.PL anymore 
for various reasons having to do with the limitations of make.
