Did you mean to send this to the Rose::HTML::Objects list instead of
the Rose::DB::Objects list?  If so, please re-send it there...and
perhaps clarify what you mean with an example from your app :)

If not, then I'm not sure what you mean by "compound field" in the
context of RDBO...
