HTML::Embperl 2.0 is written in C so it is probably the fastest.
If anyone is interested in some actual benchmarks between the different
template modules check out Joshua Chamas' "Hello World" benchmarks.
These numbers aren't definitive for a full application, but do give some
insight into how fast (or slow) some of these modules are.
