There you go then. Expat is installed, but in a non-standard directory.
Use CPAN's "look" command - i.e. "look XML::Parser" to open up a sub-
shell in the build directory, then run the configuration step
(described above) manually. Then exit (or ctrl-d) from the sub-shell,
and run "install XML::Parser" to let CPAN handle the rest.
