Hi there,

I am running a large number of blasts and analyzing the results in
while in a loop.  After sorting through the first 500 or so the script dies 
with an error message that there are too many files open and that IO.pm 
cannot create temp file 'XXXXXXXX'.  Is there some way to increase the 
number of tempfiles which can be created/accessed? I am running Perl 5.8.0, 
Bioperl 1.2 on RH 7.2.  Thanks!
