I use vim, which is apparently a more capable editor in this area.  OK, 
then I yield -- do it just as you proposed, and I'll adapt my system.

Final (proposed) version:

indent -kr -i4 -ts8 -nut -sob -ss -ncs

Just to be clear, we're talking about running *all* of the source code 
through this, and not just outbin.c, right?
