Goodbye and thanks for all the fish! (= LuaX moving to www.testbox.fi): msg#00037lang.lua.luacheia
Things are progressing for the LuaX project, and I'm happy to thank you for having my code (first gluax, then luax) within the LuaCheia sourceforge pages. I don't want to 'break ties' :) or anything, but merely inform that future LuaX releases will be made available at www.testbox.fi, starting with 0.7 in -hopefully- just a few days. Those of you, who want to follow by what's happening (or participate) are welcome to join luax-users-f0YHexScCJJhx2WE5lZfKw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This is intended to be a similar list as the LuaCheia one, focusing on those using that distribution package. It is currently available for Win32, Linux, NetBSD and Mac OS X. I hope fresh and friendly competition between the two projects will flourish, since both are Open Source and benefit the cause of applying Lua to wider areas. My focus, as you all well know, is Embedded and Industrial applications, which is not a focus for LuaCheia. Thus, I think there is a reason for having separate projects. All the good for you guys, and the project! -Asko ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
