zxJDBC

Hi,

I am using zxJDBC in Jython for  accessing databse. For selecting columns I am 
using

select * from temptable where name = a

for a in cursor.fetchall():
        ....
        .....

But when there are no results i am getting error. How to check whether there 
are any rows returned or not.
