Rec Descent Parser

I've been searching for a library for quickly creating
ad hoc rec descent parsers.

So far I've only found YAPP, which is called Yet
Another Python Parser System,
http://theory.stanford.edu/~amitp/Yapps/

The question is if this is 'Yet Another' where are the
rest?  Which would you recommend for use with Jython?
