Possibly one of our most vocal users :) -- I think Frank C has been a
Jython user for far longer than I've been contributing and certainly
has valuable insights if you can use both of us.

Can I assume that the audience is Java knowledgible for this
presentation? I find it to be easier to assume either familiarity
with Python or with Java (not both) to focus talks.

For my part I would probably have a short intro and demo acess to Java
library functions from the Jython command line, especially swing and
jdbc -- I think I can fit that into five minutes, though I've never
tried this type of demo. If I can fit it in I might also show off a
Jython servlet, but I think that might be stretching it. Does this
sound like the kind of talk you are looking for?

-Frank

Hi Jeff: I will defer to Frank W. He is a leader of the Jython effort, I am a vocal user.
