Interact with Jython from a Java Program.

Hello all,
is it possible for a Java Program

1. To create an instance of Jython
2. Execute commands in Jython (the Java program)
3. Setting variables in the Jython instance, by passing references it holds.

Is it possible to use Jython for such an arrangement?
