Good point. I am not a regular JET user myself, but I have sent them a
note about it. Perhaps this would be rectified in a future release.

Have you reported the problem to Excelsior? AFAIK, Excelsior JET 6.0
with full support for Java SE 6 is just around the corner, and they
give the latest beta to those who ask for it. I am sure they would
appreciate a test case like yours.
