Thanks for responding. I have add more clarification comments to the JIRA
ticket. I don't think this is the same as issue 1222 you mentioned.

A few key differences are:
** My test scripts returns successfully without error (and stack trace), but
just with empty response body
** This is repeatable every time.
** This seems to be server specific (against Microsoft IIS)

Hi, may be a known bug: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-1222
I think #1222 occurs randomly, so for me retrying enough times to send
the post when it fails does the trick for the moment. Could you check
this is not the same bug?
