In theory, we need to support compiled ruby in a debugger. How we do this
will answer your question. It could be that we allow compiled code to
"attach" the original. This would mean that if nothing was attached the
debugger 'list'ing would show nothing. This could satisfy your need I
think. I am just brainstorming though...
