Re: [GHC] #907: Case sensitive ghci commands: msg#00123lang.haskell.glasgow.bugs
#907: Case sensitive ghci commands ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: br1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | Owner: Type: feature request | Status: new Priority: lowest | Milestone: Component: GHCi | Version: 6.4.1 Severity: trivial | Resolution: Keywords: case command colon | Os: Unknown Difficulty: Easy (1 hr) | Architecture: Unknown ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Comment (by neil): Hugs/WinHugs on both Windows and Linux are case-insensitive for entering commands. If you allow either case, those who want to type in upper-case are happy, and those who want to type in lower-case are happy. If you allow just upper-case, you'll upset the (very small) number of people who try upper-case. -- Ticket URL: <http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/907> GHC <http://www.haskell.org/ghc/> The Glasgow Haskell Compiler_______________________________________________ Glasgow-haskell-bugs mailing list Glasgow-haskell-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.haskell.org/mailman/listinfo/glasgow-haskell-bugs
