#833: Compiler error under Fedora Core 5 with hs-plugins

I have a program that I compile and execute under Fedora Core 5 (X86) and
ghc 6.4.2 installed from Fedora Extras.

The program seems to compile and execute correctly except that, when it
calls hs-plugins (rc 1.0) that I understand in turn invokes the ghc
compiler, it exits with the message:

... internal error: loadObj: can't map `/tmp/MCVmt24924.o'

Please report this as a compiler bug.

The same code works perfectly fine under windows (also hs-plugins 1.0 +
GHC 6.4.2) and it used to work fine with Fedora Core 1 and GHC 6.4.2
(installed directly from an RPM downloaded from the GHC web site rather
than Fedora Extra as that was not available for Fedora Core 1).

I can send you the full source code of my application if that might help,
but I do not believe that is anything specific to my code.
