I installed ghc from ghc-6.4.1-1.i386.rpm. This places the haddock
 interfaces and haddock-documenation into
 /usr/share/doc/ghc-6.4.1/libraries. However

 > ghc-pkg field base haddock-interfaces
  /usr/share/ghc-6.4.1/html/libraries/base/base.haddock

   which is wrong. (had to modify package.conf by hand)
