I can reproduce it reliably.  Unfortunately, I can't send you the
repository.

The darcs binary I used is available here:
<http://glozer.net/darcs/darcs-1.0.3-win32.zip>.  I was working on a
win2k system using mingw tools.  The problem doesn't show up when using
this version:
<http://glozer.net/darcs/daily/darcs-2005.10.27-win32.zip>.
