the impossible happened

I got this message from ghc:

ghc-6.4.1: panic! (the `impossible' happened, GHC version 6.4.1):
        applyTypeToArgs

I ran ghc like this:

ghc -O2 -fglasgow-exts ctc-gadt.hs

and ctc-gadt.hs is attached.

This is on a mac os x 10.4 G4 machine, if that matters.

The problem doesn't show up if I drop the "-O2" flag.
