Hi, i am running GHC 6.4, in Redhat 9, running
sometimes with flag -threaded on.


Please look at the file Mult.hs

and function: startM1 (17-20)

run this function for different inputs (orignially,
multiply (1%7) with (0%2)) try to run with : (1%3) and
(0%1)
                  (2%3) and (0%1)
                  (1%2) and (0%1)
                  (1%5) and (0%1)

After fixing the bug, I ran the test program for about
30mins and it still hadn't finished.  Is there a way to run
it for, say, 5 seconds?

The fix will be in version 6.4.1.

 what do you mean by "allow it to run for a shorter time" ? 

btw, how do i use the fixed version of ghc ? (is there a
patch for this bug or something similar ? )

I'd like to use this as a test case - how can I provide
inputs that allow it to run for a shorter time?
