Trouble installing GHC binary on Sparc

I've installed GHC on a Sparc machine, but when I run ghci, I get the 
following error message:

ld.so.1: /net/snowy/danvk/ghc-6.2.1/lib/sparc-sun-solaris2/ghc-6.2.1: 
fatal: libreadline.so.4: open failed: No such file or directory

The binary package I downloaded from www.haskell.org/ghc warned me 
against this:
"NOTE: you'll need libreadline.so.4 and libncurses.so.5. You should 
ensure you have this before you start, since without it GHC won't work 
at all. Grab the ncurses sources from GNU and build it if you don't 
have it."

My question is where I can get this libreadline.so.4 file. I downloaded 
ncurses from freshmeat and installed it, but it didn't create either of 
those files on the Sparc machine. Any advice would be much appreciated.
