This is a duplicate of bug #753377.
It has been fixed in GHC 6.0.1, please upgrade.

Also see http://www.haskell.org/pipermail/glasgow-haskell-bugs/2003-
June/003330.html for a workaround in case you can't update to 6.0.1 for 
some reason.
