Possible compiler bug: msg#00058

Subject: Possible compiler bug

Hi there,

I was playing around with GHC and my compiled
dll-library of wxHaskell(see sourceForge for details).

The compilation was done with the last versions of
msys and MinGW.

In the GHC usersguide, I saw that it was possible to
link libraries with GHCi. So I thought, ok lets try
that.

The result can be seen below.

Greets Ron

C:\ghc\ghc-6.0.1\bin>ghci -l
"C:\msys\1.0\local\lib\wxc.dll"
___ ___ _
/ _ \ /\ /\/ __(_)
/ /_\// /_/ / / | | GHC Interactive, version
6.0.1, for Haskell 98.
/ /_\\/ __ / /___| | http://www.haskell.org/ghc/
\____/\/ /_/\____/|_| Type :? for help.

Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Loading object (static) C:/msys/1.0/local/lib/wxc.dll
... Not x86 PEi386
C:\GHC\GHC-60~1.1\BIN\GHC.EXE: panic! (the
`impossible' happened, GHC version 6
0.1):
loadObj: failed

Please report it as a compiler bug to
glasgow-haskell-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxx,
or http://sourceforge.net/projects/ghc/.
