Summary: ghci fails on Red Hat 9.0

Initial Comment:
I got the following error msg when I was trying to
start ghci

Loading package base ... linking ...
/usr/lib/ghc-5.04.3/HSbase_cbits.o: unknown symbol
`__umoddi3'
ghc-5.04.3: panic! (the `impossible' happened, GHC
version 5.04.3):
can't load package `base'

I am using Red Hat 9.0 and downloaded rpm packages
which are supposed to work under RedHat 8.0

Thanks,

michael_wangzy@xxxxxxxxx

RedHat 9.0 RPMs are now available from the download page
which fix this problem.

I get exactly the same error with ghci on Mandrake 9.1.

ghc itself works fine
