Using groovy-all-1.0-beta-7.jar from http://dist.codehaus.org/groovy/jars/ the megg template does create a jar file with the groovyc compiled classes in, on my platform (OSX) at least... I'll try and update megg with the jar above as it is a few point release behind... jez.
