Subject: Re: Love MEGG

That is what has been advertised, but I have not found it true in practice.  Perfectly good code that works when runs as scripts, does not work when compiled.  To be specific, I have not been able to get my compiled groovy to interface with compiled Java.  Groovy says what is being passed to Java is java.util.ArrayList,  but Java says it is receiving Groovy  MetaData.  I have given up trying to make it work.  If someone has a solution,  I would be very interested in it

For those that haven't tried it, I can't recommend the megg jar highly enough!  Nicely sets up your groovy project for you.

For anyone who knows about this - is there a reason it doesn't jar up your groovy classes?  I would think that it could, right?  Once you've groovyc'd them, they're just plain old classes, dependent upon the groovy jars.
